Around 6:00 pm Sunday night Niagara County Sheriff's responded to an accident involving a 24-year-old Pendleton man in the Town of Pendleton.

Investigators say Timothy Doores was driving while intoxicated traveling westbound on Tonowanda Creek Road.

He couldn't make the bend in the road and his car drifted into the grass before going down the embankment near the Creek.

Doores was taken to Milliard Fillmore Suburban to be treated for some minor injuries.

He was charged with a DWI and a number of other vehicle and traffic citations.

He could be facing more charges as the investigation continues.
