A Buffalo man is facing murder charges after a high-speed crash that killed a woman last August.
According to the Erie County District Attorney's Office, 20-year-old Jamar Sales sped through a red light at the intersection of Masten Avenue and Northampton Street, where he crashed into 72-year-old Sylvia deRosas. She later died.
Sales pleaded not guilty. Bail is set at $10,000.
If convicted, Sales faces a maximum of four years in state prison.
