A North Tonawanda man is charged with hitting a man in a motorized vehicle with his truck and leaving the scene back in February.

Police say 34-year-old Mark Hicks was driving his pick-up truck on Vulcan Street in the Town of Tonawanda when he hit a 56-year-old man. The man in the motorized wheelchair spent several weeks at ECMC being treated for injuries to his head and chest.

Hicks was arraigned in Town of Tonawanda Court and is being held on $25,000 bond.

The North Tonawanda man could face a maximum of 4 years in prison if he is convicted.
