SINCLAIRVILLE - A Chautauqua County man was arrested early Saturday afternoon after allegedly driving across a baseball field on his way to a football game.
Chautauqua County Sheriffs were called to Cassadaga Valley Central School just after 2PM on Saturday after witnesses claimed that a vehicle operated by 61 year old Danny T Thorp, of Cassadaga drove across the field to get to the parking lot of the football stadium, where a game was about to begin. Upon investigation, Sheriffs found that Thorp had allegedly been operating that vehicle while under the influence of Alcohol.
Thorp was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and was released to appear in Town of Gerry Court at a later date.
