The West Seneca Police Department has arrested Ryan Domkowski, 26, on charges of attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and assault.

Officers responded to a report of a family dispute on Saturday, May 28. Officers say Domkowski stabbed his grandfather in the back with a kitchen knife after an argument. He was taken into custody.

Police consulted with the Erie County District Attorney's Office before charging Domkowski with attempted murder, assault in the second degree, and criminal possession of a weapon. Domkowski was booked, fingerprinted and held pending arraignment.
