A 22-year-old from Lakewood was arrested and is facing a slew of charges after police say he stole a car in Jamestown and eventually led police in Florida on a chase.

Lakewood-Busti Police say Collin Slack burglarized Jamestown Honda earlier this year, and stole cash, a 2018 Honda Accord, and a NYS Dealer Plate.  Months later, police say the car was found in the state of Florida, after it passed through a Sun Pass toll booth.

Police in Orange County tried to pull Slack over, and that's when they say he took off and led police on a chase.  He eventually crashed the car and was arrested, then extradited back to New York.  Slack is charged with Burglary, Grand Larceny Criminal Mischief and Petit Larceny.  He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
