A man was arrested after leading police on a foot chase through a Bird/Richmond Avenue neighborhood overnight Monday.
Police responded to an incident on Baynes Street just after midnight. The man ran away when police arrived. The police officers gave chase but lost the man in a rear yard.
An eyewitness said the man was found by police in a home that he had broken into on Bird Avenue a short time later.
