An Orchard Park man was arrested after his car got stuck in a snow bank, and responding police say he had drugs in the car.
The Orchard Park Police Department says 43-year-old Warren McCrea slid through a red light at the five corners and went right into a snow bank on Lake Avenue. His car got stuck, and responding police found out that his registration was suspended for an insurance lapse.
Police say as they were doing an inventory on the contents of the car, they smelled marijuana. A K-9 from the Erie County Sheriffs Office responded, and police say the dog helped find marijuana, a crack pipe, and a pill bottle with liquid inside.
McCrea was arrested and charged with a number of things including passing though a red arrow, operating a car with a suspended registration and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center and his car was impounded.
