A Byron man has been arrested on charges of stalking a teenage girl.
Jaime Vega-Tinuco faces charges of Stalking in the 4th Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Authorities say despite being told to "numerously cease contact" with a 16-year-old girl in Elba, Vega-Tinuco continued.
Sheriff's officials say Vega-Tinuco even showed up to the girl's house uninvited.
Vega-Tinuco was arraigned in the Town of Oakfield Court. Bail was set at $2,500, and he was taken back to the Genesee County Jail.
United States Immigration and Custom's Enforcement helped the Genesee County Sheriff's Office in the investigation.
