The man accused of torching a volunteer firefighter's home last August pleaded not guilty Thursday morning.

Just days before his house went up in flames, Ken Walker also received a racially charged letter in the mail. Matthew Jurado, who entered the not guilty plea, still says he had nothing to do with the racial threat.

Jurado's next hearing is January 26. His trial is set for April 24.
