Male victim shot in apparent drive-by

Male victim was taken to ECMC to be treated

One person is injured after an apparent drive-by shooting Monday night on Buffalo's east side.

The shooting happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Sprenger Avenue, according to Buffalo Police.

A source tells 7 Eyewitness News the male victim was struck in the shoulder area.  He was taken to ECMC with non-life threatening injuries.

Police tape surrounded Schiller Park Monday evening as police investigated.  It is unclear if there are any suspects.
