BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — More time at home means more work for your A/C unit.
According to Tony Cellino at Cellino Plumbing, there are a couple of things you can do at home to make sure it's running smoothly.
- Check and change the filter: This is a fairly simple and inexpensive thing to do. If the filter is clogged, there won't be proper circulation given to the house and could effect the A/C output. Once you do change it, make sure you dispose of the old filter properly to avoid spreading germs that are sure to be inside.
- Make sure the outdoor A/C unit is clear of debris: This involves you uncovering, or moving the branches and other things that may have accumulated around the unit. This, too, helps with airflow.
