BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Gas prices dropped one cent from last week in Buffalo while going up three cents in Batavia.

In addition, gas prices nationally are now above $2, increasing five cents from last week to $2.03.

Right now the average price for a gallon of gas in Buffalo is $2.19 while up to $2.25 in Batavia.

AAA of Western and Central New York says prices are rising as states reopen and demand for gasoline increases for both work and recreation purposes.
