A joint investigation into the sale of cocaine from Texas to Orleans County has landed two suspects in custody.

Authorities say a vehicle was pulled over on East Avenue back on June 17th in the Village of Albion. The driver and passenger were both arrested, and after further investigation, a search warrant was obtained for the vehicle.

Police seized one kilogram of cocaine hidden in the engine with a street value of over $150,000.

Daniel Guzman and Luis Alberto Sanchez-Garza were both charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the first degree.
