Surveillance images helped deputies make an arrest following a lumber yard theft.
Deputies say they responded to a report of building supplies stolen at 84 Lumber in Elma during overnight hours.
Company representatives were able to provide detectives with images of the suspect from surveillance camera placed around the buildings.
After the images were posted on the Erie County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, officials say county probation officers were able to identify the man as a county probation subject.
Detectives arrested and charged Matthew Barker with grand larceny and criminal trespass.
