Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul is defending Start-Up NY after the program released a lackluster jobs report last week.
That report, which came out three months late, shows the program has only crated 400 jobs so far.
Policy analysts say the report is far from the 4,100 jobs projected for 2020.
Start-Up NY focuses on giving tax breaks to tech companies so they can bring new hires on board.
