Thursday was a long day of shoveling for Eden residents as the snow continued to fall and pile up. That winter wonderland, a familiar sight for Frank Gerece, who plowed the parking lot of his car shop five times in just a couple of hours.
"I come in, I plow the snow, I get it cleaned up a little bit," said Gerece. "Then I turn around, and it's falling behind me!"
Minutes away in Eden, Ron Sheffer was clearing out his sidewalk with a snow blower. It's a process he expected to do several times Thursday.
"I'm just getting the major stuff off right now and I'll probably come out in another few hours and do it all over again," said Sheffer.
Apart from shoveling, crews were also working hard to clear the roads.
"It almost reminds me of the amount of snow we were getting during the blizzard!" said Gerece.
Roads that were so bad, the Eden Central School District closed for the day.
