A woman stopped for allegedly driving erratically is accused of being intoxicated behind the wheel with her infant granddaughter in the vehicle.
Deputies were called to Rochester Road in Lockport around 6 p.m. Saturday after getting a 911 call about an erratic driver. After allegedly seeing Lisa Summerlee, 46, of Lockport swerving, deputies stopped her vehicle.
Authorities say Summerlee was under the influence of drugs and had her 7-month-old granddaughter in the backseat of her car.
Summerlee is charged with driving on the shoulder, DWI by drugs, felony DWI under Leandra’s Law and endangering the welfare of a child.
She was taken to the Niagara County Jail on $2,500 bail.
