A Buffalo sports legend stopped by WKBW on Tuesday.
Sabres play-by-play announcer Rick Jeanneret will be leading the first lap of the inaugural relay for life happening this Friday at Canalside in Buffalo.
Jeanneret went through 33 radiation treatments and several rounds of chemotherapy after he was diagnosed with stage 3 throat cancer in 2014.
He has now been cancer free for about a year and a half.
R.J. says he will be back in the booth next season.
