A local photographer is on a mission to tour the nation, photographing America's best bars, bartenders and distilleries.

Aaron Inagro is a commercial advertising photographer who lives in Buffalo, and he's spent most of his career photographing action, adventure, sports and lifestyle for magazines and product advertising. He's also an avid lover of cocktails who loves to travel the United States, and it was from that love that his newest project, "Keepers of the Craft: Cocktails Across America" was born.

For the project, Ingrao will spend one year traveling the country documenting the bars, bartenders, barrel makers and distilleries that steward the tradition of America's Craft Cocktail Culture. The project will culminate with all of the work being compiled into a professional photobook.

"I absolutely love cocktails, specifically whiskey," Ingrao said.  "I love the culture; I love the people. These people that are making these drinks for us are as passionate about what they're doing as I am about capturing what they do."

To make the project a reality, Inagro is hoping to raise $35,000. He's launched a kickstarter campaign to help his efforts. Pledgees can pick from a number of reward levels, ranging from a mention in the book to a private photo session with Ingrao himself.
