Paramedics in the Town of Tonawanda will soon feel a lot safer when responding to emergency situations.
It's all thanks to the Kenmore Rotary Club Charity group. Members have donated roughly $8,000 to help purchase new ballistic or bullet proof vests for the Town of Tonawanda Paramedic Unit.
The Rotary Club regularly supports places like Kenmore Mercy Hospital, Meals on Wheels and several other organizations that serve the Western New York community.
