You might want to think twice about leaving your car running in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — If you leave your car running in Buffalo and go somewhere, you might find a ticket on it when you get back.

The Buffalo Police Department posted a reminder on Facebook Tuesday that anyone who leaves a car running and unoccupied is subject to get a ticket for an unattended motor vehicle.

The post also doubles as a warning. Police said leaving your keys in the car, hidden or otherwise, is a bad idea. They said numerous car have been stolen because people left the keys somewhere inside.
