BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — New court documents reveal what former New York State Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb said to responding officers after crashing his car into a ditch in Ontario County.

The document claims Assemblyman Kolb told a witness his wife was driving at the time of the accident on New Year's Eve. The witness then claims to have heard Kolb say "You know how women drive."

The court papers also claim Kolb admitted to having four or five cocktails before the crash. A breath test later came back with a .16% BAC.

Kolb recently stepped down as the minority leader after being arrested.
