YMCA Turkey Trot is sold out for 2019, proceeds to benefit YMCA Buffalo Niagara

BUFFAO, N.Y. (WKBW) — With just a few days to go until race day, the YMCA Buffalo Niagara Turkey Trot has sold out.

The 124th running of the Turkey Trot happens on Thanksgiving morning at 9 a.m. The run starts in front of the Delaware Family YMCA and continues down Delaware Avenue, ending at Franklin and Niagara in Downtown Buffalo.

Those who still want to get involved can volunteer during the race. Find out about volunteer information, get a route map and more at the YMCA Turkey Trot website. Proceeds from the race go to the YMCA Buffalo Niagara's financial assistance program.

Runners who were able to register in time can pick up their race packets at the Independent Health Family Branch YMCA in Amherst, Monday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
