WARSAW, N.Y. (WKBW) — The emergency operations center in Wyoming County is asking for you help in providing personal protective equipment in order to combat COVID-19.
Officials say they are in need of the following items
- N-95 or procedure style masks and respirators
- Protective gowns
- Goggles
- Tyvek suits or similar suits with liquid splash protection
"This equipment will be used for frontline staff at Wyoming County Community Health System providing direct patient care, Health Department staff working with home quarantine patients, and first responders including Wyoming County EMS, fire and law enforcement," said Chairman of the Wyoming County Board of Supervisors, Jerry L. Davis.
As of Monday morning there are three confirmed coronavirus cases in Wyoming County.
