VILLAGE OF PERRY, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Village of Perry Police Department says about a year ago 9-year-old Miguel found a wallet stuffed with cash in the road and knew the right thing to do was to turn it into police.

Tuesday, one year after Miguel turned the wallet in, the owner has still not come forward to claim it.

As a "thank you" for looking out for his neighbors, officers Russell and Masci of the Village of Perry police surprised Miguel with money and his own Perry PD patch.
