ALBANY, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE) announced Thursday it has reached settlement agreements with the Legislative Ethics Commission (LEC) in two cases involving assemblymember Angela Wozniak and Senate staffer Christopher Savage.

Assemblymember Angela Wozniak admitted she violated the public officers law by making personnel decisions related to her director of legislation after having a brief consensual sexual relationship.

Former acting chief of staff to State Senator Marc Panepinto, Christopher Savage, admitted to violating public officers law by trying to dissuade a witness from cooperating with an investigation into allegations against Panepinto.
