NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — A woman is recovering from injuries after she was hit by a man who was driving while intoxicated in Niagara Falls, Sunday afternoon.
Authorities say a 37-year-old woman was crossing a parked car Niagara Street, when a 49-year-old Niagara Falls man drove into her, throwing her onto a parked car just before 5 o'clock, Sunday evening.
Police say the woman was rushed to ECMC by ambulance recovering from unknown injuries, and is believed to be in stable condition.
Officers say the man has been charged with Aggravated DWI and for having an open container of alcohol in his car.
The Niagara Falls Crash Management Unit is still investigating the crash.
