BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A 28-year-old woman has died after she was stabbed by a man just before 2:30 a.m. on Friday.
Buffalo police say it happened on Doat Street near Peace Street and Theodore Street.
Investigators say she was sent to ECMC by an ambulance, where she later died.
26-year-old Talyn Williams has been arrested, police say Williams was allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and the victim attempted to intervene. When the victim attempted to intervene she was allegedly fatally stabbed in the neck by Williams.
Police say Williams fled the scene but was later located and taken into custody.
Buffalo Police made an arrest in an overnight fatal stabbing incident on Doat Street. Stabbing occurred shortly after 2AM in the 300 block of Doat Street.
