SHERIDAN, N.Y. (WKBW) — A woman has died after a collision with a tanker truck in the Town of Sheridan, Thursday afternoon.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's office, 85-year-old Henrietta Graziano of Brocton was driving a sedan east on South Roberts Road when she failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Center Road.
Investigators say the tanker truck driver was not able to stop and struck Graziano's vehicle on the passenger side. Graziano was airlifted to Hamot Medical Center where she died of her injuries.
The driver of the tanker truck was transported to Brooks Hospital for treatment.
The sheriff's office says no charges will be filed as a result of the crash.
