BUSTI, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Lakewood-Busti Police Department says a woman is dead and three others were injured following a crash in Busti Friday.
The crash occurred on Busti-Sugar Grove Road near the state line around 6:30 p.m. Friday.
According to police the driver swerved to avoid striking a deer and the vehicle went off the road and struck a tree.
The front seat passenger, 65-year-old Carol Boyer of Jamestown, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle, two children who were in the back seat suffered minor injuries.
The driver and the two children were transported to UPMC by ambulance for treatment.
No further information was released.
