Woman in critical condition after hit-and-run crash in Niagara Falls

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — A woman in Niagara Falls is in critical condition following a hit-and-run crash late Sunday night.

Authorities say a 36-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle while she was attempting to cross Walnut Avenue at 20th Street, just before midnight Monday.

According to police, the woman was taken to ECMC to be treated for injuries, where she is currently listed in critical condition.

The vehicle is believed to have damage to the front end and hood of the vehicle, as well as a broken windshield.
