SILVER CREEK, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Silver Creek woman is facing charges after police say they found two small children alone in the middle of the road.
Chautauqua County Sheriff's Deputies found the two children around 6:00 p.m. Monday. Police say they were in the middle of the road at the intersection of Routes 5 and 20 with no parent or guardian around.
Police later arrested 29-year-old Rickie Ecker for Endangering the Welfare of a Child. They say she left the kids alone. She will appear in Town of Hanover Court.
