BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Dozens of Western New York union members will rally this weekend in solidarity with the employees of New Era's Derby production facility.
Led by the members of the Western New York Area Labor Federation, the #NewEraHatsOff rally comes after the company announced plans to cut nearly 200 union jobs in the area when it closes the location in March.
In attendance will be Assemblyman Sean Ryan, U.S. Representative Brian Higgins, and a representative from the Western New York Occupational and Environmental Health Center.
