BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — WKBW is honored to have received an award Thursday evening from a celebrated human services agency in Western New York.
Heritage Christian Services presented 7 Eyewitness News with the “Buffalo Community Partner Award” at an event at Samuel’s Grande Manor. The event celebrated the work being done at the organization.
Heritage Christian serves thousands of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the area.
"We recognize our direct support professionals but also those we support and family members as well... it's really a great opportunity for all stakeholders and celebrate the great work we're doing here in the community,” said Chuck Collard, Regional Vice-president of Heritage Christian Services.
The organization’s work spans across 15 counties.
