BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of New York has charged and arrested a Williamsville man for producing child porn and enticing a minor, according to a criminal complaint.
38-year-old Michael Regan allegedly engaged in a conversation with a 13-year-old girl via Snapchat, identifying himself as "Jason."
Investigators say the conversations were sexual in nature with the defendant requesting that the victim send him naked photographs.
In August, Regan and the victim had sexual contact, and at one point, Regan claimed to be a Cheektowaga police officer.
Regan initially appeared in court on Friday and was held pending a detention hearing on December 8th.
If convicted, Regan faces a minimum of 15 years in prison.
