When it comes to car colors, Buffalo loves black and white

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — When it comes to cars, black rules the road in the Buffalo region.

Black is the most popular car in the area, with a 25.9 percent share of the market, according to a new analysis by iSeeCars.com. White crosses the finish line second at 19.6 percent followed by gray at 15.5 percent.

Nationwide, white edges out black in popularity, 23.9 percent to 23.2 percent.

iSeeCars looked at more than nine million one-to-five year-old used cars (2014 to 2018 model years) sold in 2019.

Here are the top 10 colors in Western New York by ranking:
