FRANKLINVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Cattaraugus County man is facing criminal charges after he was allegedly caught with fireworks that were stolen from a business in McKean County in Pennsylvania.

New York State Police pulled over Salvatore F. Faliero, 57, of Franklinville, on Rt. 98 in Great Valley on July 2nd. According to Troopers, Faliero possessed fireworks that are not legal in New York and had been stolen in Pennsylvania.

Faliero was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and unlawfully selling fireworks and released with appearance tickets for Great Valley Town Court, where he is due to appear in September.
