BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The NFTA police have been preparing for weeks for fans at the airport to welcome home the Buffalo Bills.
Transit police are not encouraging people to come because of safety, but said they’re aware many may show up.
Police will enforce mask wearing, and have some to hand out. They’ll also be encouraging fans to stay distanced.
Parking will also be limited.
In the City of Buffalo preparation are similar.
There will be a police presence, not to stop fans from celebrating, but to make sure the celebrations will be safe.
BPD is encouraging people to wear masks, stay distanced, and respect all public property so it can be a fun and safe celebration Sunday evening.
