West Seneca police searching for suspect of bank robbery

WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WKBW) — West Seneca police say they are searching for the man believed to have robbed the M&T Bank branch on Slade Avenue just before noon Saturday.

A white male, approximately 25 to 30 years of age, 5' 8'' to 6' feet tall, with a thin build, clean shaved and dark rimmed glasses entered the M&T Bank branch at 10 Slade Avenue near Ridge Road and handed the teller a note demanding money.

Police say he made off with an undetermined amount of cash.

No weapon was displayed, he was last seen on foot traveling north behind homes on Slade towards Potters Road.

His clothing is described as a: dark baseball cap, orange long sleeve shirt with red shirt underneath, blue jeans and dark shoes.

Police say he is believed to have put on a dark hooded sweatshirt after exiting the property.
