BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A West Falls man is facing a federal sex crime charge along with charges in three Western New York counties for allegedly taking a minor across state lines to have sex with them.
According to a criminal complaint, 35-year-old Nicholas B. Turnquist took a victim under the age of 18 to Pennsylvania to have sex with them.
In October, Turnquist was arraigned in Darien Town Court on a first degree rape charge.
Turnquist was arrested following an investigation into a series of sex offenses in Genesee, Wyoming and Erie Counties.
Turnquist was ordered to be held without bail and returned to the Wyoming County Jail where he is being held on related charges.
He was accused of sexually assaulting a child in April 2020.
