Water main break impacting Cheektowaga residents

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A water main break is now impacting Cheektowaga residents living along Cayuga Creek Road.

According to the Erie County Water Authority crews are now working to repair the break linked to a 24-inch transmission main.

A statement from the Water Authority reads:
“At this time, residents of Peregrine Senior Living in Cheektowaga will be experiencing a service disruption until the transmission main is repaired and back in service. Peregrine Senior Living has been alerted of the service interruption and has informed its residents. Additional residents in the immediate area of the break may experience low or no water pressure. “An update will be provided when new information is available.”
