ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — Windom Elementary in Orchard Park is closed on Friday due to a water main break.
The water main break also impacted Lake Shore Central Schools on Thursday, having students dismissed early on Thursday.
The Erie County Water Authority says a "significant break" occurred to a 48-inch transmission main near its Sturgeon Point Water Treatment Plant in Evans Thursday morning.
The superintendent for Orchard Park Central Schools says this water main break has only closed Windom Elementary for Friday, and does not impact any other schools in Orchard Park.
