DEPEW, N.Y. (WKBW) — As of Monday, February 24, 2020, the Village of Depew will have a new school zone speed limit on George Urban Boulevard between Dick Road and Patrick Lane. This new zone is directly across from the Catalician Center for Learning.
The speed will be reduced from 30 mph to 20 mph from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Village of Depew police say that if you violate the speed limit, warnings will be given out for the first two weeks. Police will issue regular citations two weeks after the new school zone speed limit signs go up.
