ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — With the Bills on a bye week, New Era Field will not be left empty as the "Stadium Blitz" takes the field. Stadium Blitz is a one-of-a-kind, stadium-based obstacle race combined with innovative scoring technology to create the perfect environment for fitness enthusiasts of every level, including children as young as seven years old. Compete as an individual, as a team working together, or as teams working in competition.
The race is partnered with Gronk Nation and will have all five Gronkowski brothers at the event being held at New Era Field.
Tickets range from $20 to $65 and registration is still available online. Ranging from ages 7 and up, the Stadium Blitz starts on October 12th. Doors open at 3:30p with the first racers taking the course at 5p.
What makes Stadium Blitz unique is the way it allows racers to choose their destiny by select their own adventure on the course. Stadium Blitz is one of the only obstacle course races that allows participants to determine how hard they want to be tested. Complete as many or as few of the obstacles without intimidation or the threat of punishment – though finishing an obstacle earns racers points. Participants can also invite their own cheering section to enjoy the event from the stands, while racers compete on the field.
