BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — If you live or work in downtown Buffalo, you may see more police officers and vehicles than usual.

That's because the University at Buffalo is testing its crisis response exercise for several hours on Thursday.

This will mainly impact the areas between Delaware Avenue and Michigan Avenue at North Street and Edward and Goodell Streets.

These tests are expected to begin around 7:30 Thursday morning, and will end around 2:30 Thursday afternoon.
