AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — A University at Buffalo police officer has been taken to the hospital after crashing with another vehicle in Amherst, according to a UB spokesperson.
The crash happened near Grover Cleveland Highway and Maynard Drive around 5:45 pm Wednesday.
The spokesperson tells 7 Eyewitness News that the UB police vehicle was responding to a call to assist Amherst Police with it's lights and sirens on when it collided with another vehicle.
The male officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Another individual was involved in the crash, but the condition of that person is unclear at this time.
