HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) — United Auto Workers' members are saying 'yes' to a multi-million dollar investment from Ford Motor Company; at the Buffalo Stamping Plant in Hamburg.
New documents from UAW Ford show the investment will cover the following items:
- Stampings for Edge/MKX will continue for current model
- Stampings for all new Edge will be added
- Stampings for Econoline/Medium Truck will continue
- Stampings for F-150 and Super Duty will be transferred to other US stamping facilities
The $60 million in funding is one of 19 investments Ford Motor Company is making toward its branches; worth a total of $6 billion.
