NORTH BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Soccer fans in Buffalo packed Mes Que bar on Hertel Avenue Tuesday to watch the United States take on England in the Women's World Cup semi-finals.

USA fans got what they came for, a win. The U.S. beat England 2-1.

The bar was packed from wall to wall, jerseys on back, and beers in hand. Fans went crazy for USA's goals including one from team star Alex Morgan on her 30th birthday. The team will now be playing in it's third World Cup final in a row, a historic feat. Tommy Duic, a USA soccer fan, was enjoying the came from the bar and liked what he saw from the team after the 1st half.

"I thought the U.S. women played a really good tactical first half," he said. "They scored the early goal, England came back and got one, and then we took control right at the end of the second half and got that second goal. So so far I'm very pleased."

A big story line was star Morgan Rapinoe not starting. Fans we spoke with at the bar were not worried about that hurting USA's chances.

The last time the women won the World Cup was in 2015. The U.S. will play the winner of Sweden vs. Netherlands in the final.
