TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Town of Tonawanda Police Department says two vape shops have been cited for underage sales following an underage-vaping sales sting operation.
According to TTPD, this is the second time this calendar year they have run an underage-vaping sales sting operation at all four of the designated vape shops in the town.
The two businesses cited were:
- Planet Vape, located at 894 Brighton Road
- Vape Linq located at 2890 Elmwood Avenue
Police say this is the second time in just over two months the Vape Linq location has been cited.
Employees at the locations were issued appearance tickets for violations of the New York State Public Health Law and are due back in court at a later date.
